Steven Baird

Steven and his wife, Beth, settled in Bishops Stortford in 2003 just before the birth of their first child. He had moved to London after college in 1986 and joined James Capel as a graduate trainee and subsequently worked for Nomura and Societe Generale. In 2003 he helped establish a new investment bank and their corporate finance capability. Since 2010 he has run his own business as a consultant and private capital specialist.
The Bairds have three children in Cantate with the eldest son having joined in 2011, the middle daughter joining in 2013, and the youngest son joining the training choir in 2016, so they have many years of historic involvement and many more ahead.
