Christmas with Cantate

It has been 15 years since Cantate last recorded a Christmas album and we are delighted to present the sequel, Christmas with Cantate. We returned to All Saints’ early in January 2017 to record this album and capture the seasonal spirits that mean so much to so many. For the vast majority of those taking part, this was a very new experience. Recordings of this nature are a notoriously difficult undertaking that place great demands on all performers, especially the very youngest singers. But, as always, Cantate did what Cantate does best: rise to the occasion and deliver performances that are both magical and heartfelt. This is an album that we are truly proud of and one that we hope will provide the sound track to your Christmas for many years to come.

We are very grateful to everyone that helped us to record Christmas with Cantate and particularly the Vicar and Churchwardens at All Saints’ for allowing us to take over the building for the weekend.
